How do I create an account?

Serva Depositions uses your Microsoft 365 account for authentication. Simply sign in with your existing Microsoft credentials when you first open the app—no separate account needed.

How does the transcription work?

The app uses hybrid transcription: on-device processing provides real-time speed, while cloud-based AI enhances accuracy. Audio is processed securely and encrypted at all times.

Can I use the app offline?

Recording and on-device transcription work without an internet connection. Cloud-based AI analysis features (contradiction detection, summaries, interrogation) require connectivity and will process once you're back online.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad to view, change, or cancel your subscription.

Can I export my transcripts?

Yes. You can export transcripts as PDF or plain text from within the app. Tap the share icon on any deposition to access export options.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. All audio and transcript data is encrypted end-to-end. We never sell or share your deposition content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What about recording consent laws?

Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some states require all-party consent for recording. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws before recording any deposition. The app does not provide legal advice on recording consent.

How do I delete my account and data?

Email support@servatempus.com with your account email address and we will delete all associated data within 30 days. You can also cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription management.
